260.000 Einwohner hat Gelsenkirchen, davon ca. 35.000 Ausländer (nicht Migranten!). Wahlberechtigt sind 186.354 gewesen, gültig gewählt haben 96.424 = 52,4%. 86.827 haben Parteien gewählt, die in den Landtag kommen. Etwa 9.600 Stimmen fallen unter den Tisch wegen der 5%-Hürde. 86.827 von 260.000 sind ca. 33,3%, ein Drittel.
